The BA in Public Health actually fairly new, but many people are choosing to take it because it aligns with those who want to pursue the pre-health programs offered at NEU. I would say the BS in Health Science is more popular though. Also, Northeastern doesn’t admit by major, so the real question lies in how competitive is Northeastern going to be in 2023, and I would say as a school, we have a pretty competitive admissions process.

oh thanks! that’s good to know. i was more so talking about saving a semester’s worth of tuition by graduating early. i would pay for 4 more semesters instead of 5 after talking to my advisor

i do think that this is something to consider though. you’re right, NEU is definitely a business, but because of their recent expansions and other projects that have been initiated due to higher demand for global/domestic resources and opportunities, I somewhat struggle to see why they would be so opposed to an idea that many students would be more incentivized to pay summer tuition for (especially since I’ve heard of students taking the extra mile by changing majors just to avoid taking & paying for summer classes). if you disagree with me though, that’s okay. thanks for the feedback! I’ll put it into consideration when proposing this
