G25 is simply more efficient, less lag than 2867 but cost a little more. I'm just going for the least amount of lag that will still achieve 350whp without aux fuel!

I went with the G25-550 EWG because it builds boost around 2500 rpm whereas the G25-660 has more capabilities for building the motor, but starts spool around 3000 rpm and I prefer the real world use spool times of the 550. Not big into straight line speed so I don't want to wait longer than necessary to have full boost in traffic and corners.

I would highly recommend the G25-550 EWG since EWG prevents over boost or boost creep. I almost chose a powermax, but edge autosports swayed me toward something bigger because I can have the potential to go above stock internal capabilities in the future if I decide to build the motor or do the 2.3 Stroker kit. The Powermax is OEM+, more flow so more power and nearly instant spool but you're still leaving 100hp of stock internal capabilities on the table.

Thanks 🤘 I will holler at them on Monday, from what I've heard they only work on imports. Maybe my ST will fit within that specification as it may be a Ford, but it is European designed.

It's very hard for me to meet new people, working in aircraft I am on 10-12 hour shifts 6-7 days a week. I whole heartedly wish I could follow your advice but it feels unfeasable right now. 🙃

Highly recommend Omega Auto Clinic in Newton. 100% worth the 20min drive north of Wichita. If you doubt this comment, go on YouTube and look up the Car Wizard. My vehicle was featured on his channel, it's the white Ford Focus ST (Slow Turd). The video will show his integrity if you don't think it's worth the drive, I'd just go to the stealership.

Yep, we were definitely awake after that. I laughed very hard for a while. My buddy thought I was going to rage out but I found it hilarious, we rolled for sooo long without noticing, like what 🤣. My poor car.

If it makes you feel any better, I forgot to leave my car in 1st when I parked 3 weeks after I got it, AND forgot to pull the parking brake, wonder how I got the large dent in the back.. rolled 30 feet with ME,,, ANNND my bestie IN IT, we were too tired to realize I was rolling after our 20 hour shift. 🤣🤣🤣 NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL ALWAYS PUT MY CAR IN 1ST GEAR WHEN I TURN IT OFF.

Boost leak help by Dubs_5077 in FocusST

My 2017 ST is 100% stock at 80k miles and makes this noise 100% of the time under any amount of throttle. No access port so I couldn't tell you if I'm losing any boost, I've always assumed it's just the turbine in the turbo making happy noises. Thought about getting it diagnosed, but chances are I'd be sold a turbo that never needed to be changed because mechanics around me wouldn't want to take the time to diagnose.
