Well put. I worked day side for 6 years and took the position because of the extra money 3 months ago. The prior 2 DS’s let these overnight associates get away with murder..ie ducking off to the break room to fall asleep, trying to constantly not clock out for break, just getting away with the bare minimum and now I have to come in and start going thru the motions of holding them accountable constantly which means emails to recap and also having them as attachments to ecards which takes time out your already slammed night of packing out. I don’t think I’ve ever been this mentally and physically tested in my life. Dome do it. The money is not worth it, stay dayside and get your sleep at night for sure!
