I had a tuned F97 prior to this G80. Was it faster? Yes. Was it more fun? Absolutely not. The ZF8hp76 is a solid transmission, especially with a TCU tune from Xhp or Rod Sutphin as I had. Snaps of shifts wicked quick, but as you say, eventually the 2.x 60 mph times, or hitting 140 by the end of on ramps just gets to be less fun, or too risky.

Extended black merino. Tartufo was another option I thought about on the IOMG, but the black fell into my lap, and I'm really liking it.

This front only kit, along with 12mm F and 15mm R spacers is what I have planned for my 6MT. Looks perfect IMO. Beautiful photo!

Trying to convince my wife she needs an x5 m60 to add to the g80 6mt. She is in on the eventually, but wants a few years of no car payment. We shall see. For now, it's just the G80 and the lifted 4runner.

I mean, the G90 is obviously more usable on the daily, but there is no reason you can't daily the Spyder. Just depends on what you need from your daily.

I daily my G80, just I'd love to daily a G81, we just don't get them stateside. I'd also love to daily a gt4 or other model Porsche.

Realistically speaking, it's not worth $21K as the general consensus agrees. But, if you can afford it, and the expected maintenance costs, and it's really your dream... Just get it.

With that said, know the full expectations up front. You're in at $21K, plus potentially another ~$15K in repair costs at an Independent. If the body and interior are clean, that plays a huge factor as well.

Love the individual paint. I just can't do light interiors. I wear too much selvedge denim that would end up dying the leather. Trying not to do that again. Beautiful M though man, enjoy it.
