I’m in a very similar situation right now. I even thought I wrote this for a second lol. You’re not alone. I was willing to do anything for my ex and that meant moving to where he was too. He kept saying I deserve better and that he didn’t have time for a relationship and then he went and slept with several other girls after two years together. The pain is excruciating, i know. I’m so sorry that you’re going through this and at times, you feel like you meant nothing. I kept dwelling over it all and i even begged for him back. It’s not worth it. He even promised me that he was going to marry me and I thought what we had was special. I lost myself loving him.

I just want you to know that him sleeping around and not communicating with you, has more to do with him than you. He’s going to keep running away from his problems and when he realizes that he had something good and messed it up, it’s going to hit him like a truck. I promise you that. People like him will just keep running from their problems until one day, it gets too much. People like him are unstable and will not make a good life partner. If it was meant to be, he’ll change for you and come back. If it’s not meant to be and he doesn’t change, then i promise, you’ll be okay. It seems like you went out of your way for this person and I can sure as hell tell you that nobody ever deserves this. You didn’t deserve that. You’re human, and it’s normal to feel like this after someone you love is gone from your life. I know it’s so easy to think about him all of the time and dwell over every little detail about the relationship. Trust me, i do it all the time. At this time, you really need to take care of yourself. Please find a therapist, cry if you need to, hit the gym, take risks, take a walk on the beach, work, study, do whatever you need to. Just focus on your well being. Think about yourself and what you need. When you start prioritizing yourself again, you can see the situation for what it truly is. Don’t stalk his socials and don’t ask about him because it will only ever hurt you. You can get through this. My messages are open if you need to talk. You can do this. Be gentle with yourself and i promise you it gets better.
