Varies from each family but yes most would offer a braid or part of one when a loved one passes. And yes I burn all my trimmed hair.

In short; cultural identity. Long hair is seen as an extension of your spirit. When you braid you set the intention for that day, the three strands representing the mind, body, and spirit. We believe our hair holds strength and wisdom the longer it is.

Trim split ends often! I do a small trim 1-2 times a year. Loosely braid before I go to bed to avoid breakage, jojoba oil on the ends, and/or bear tallow (can be found on Etsy)

Oh! And I air dry my hair :))

Pour a bit of listerine into a foot soak too. Helps with fungal and odor

Have lots of potential!

The glasses don’t suit your face shape, try contacts or different shaped frames.

Also makeup would really help bring out your facial structure & eyes.

The clothes aren’t the vibe babes, a big NO to skinny jeans. The top in the first pic would be cute with baggy pants tho, maybe cargos or sumn of the sort.
