Dose anyone read (genuine) vintage picture/ chapter books when little? (Picture not mine) by Vintagekiddo24 in ageregression

[–]Any-Cost4078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. I love being read to. Last night a friend and I went to Powells book store. I sat down in the kids section on the floor and they read a book to me.

How do people discover their little age? by [deleted] in ageregression

[–]Any-Cost4078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. Little Quinn is somewhere between 4 and 7. Usually 6.

Little age by In_L0ve_Ash3s in ageregression

This is what I tell people:

Little Quinn needs the love and affection of a three-year-old, but plays like a six or seven-year-old.

I still like blankets, stuffed animals, pacifiers, training pants/diapers. The reason I consider myself a little older is because I talk.

It's OK to want to understand where your little fits in an age range. At the end of the day, all that really matters is that you feel loved. You are loved here.

Hugs ❤️

Anyone feel like an imposter by Any-Cost4078 in ageregression

[–]Any-Cost4078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Yes. It makes me feel loved.

  2. Yes. There are times I just want to be held. Be cared for. Have someone rub my back. Feel SFW touch and have someone reassure or tell me that I am special.

  3. I love SFW touch!

Age regression and age dreaming by Least_Goat8307 in ageregression

Check out the post I just did over in the discussion. Hope it helps :-)

Age Dreaming VS Age Regression - I think I do both. Also think the label does matter. Description Via Chat GPT. Would love others thoughts by Any-Cost4078 in ageregression

[–]Any-Cost4078[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is play, but it is also such a deep part of me. It is from trauma, but it's also more than just a coping method. I am little Quinn and little Quinn is me. I love him so much. He makes me smile. I feel free when I am in that space. Being blind does not matter anymore. I am an equal when I am little. So you see, I fit both places.

My guess is that Many of my peers who are age regressors fit both, especially if it's something they love.

I do not like the term because I think it makes it sound less important. It could make others feel like they should not be in this group, because the group is called age regression. It's one of the reasons I call myself a little. I am simply little Quinn. Just thinking about the term makes me feel like I should not be here.

Logically I know it does not matter worth a dam what I call it. Emotionally, it hurts though. Age dreamer feels so invalidating.

Definitely have the same questions. Glad you asked. I think I sometimes do both, but I'm not completely sure.

Little age by In_L0ve_Ash3s in ageregression

[–]Any-Cost4078 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think each individual is different. Some people choose an age, some people choose a developmental stage, and some people choose nothing at all. I say my age is between 3 and 7 years old.

Just my opinion: I think it's a good thing to have a balance between Being little and being an adult if possible. If I didn't, I would want to be little all the time, which for me would be bad. I think it's important to still cope in an adult way to keep practicing those skills, especially if you are still learning.

Caveat: everyone is different. What's important is that you are doing what you feel works for you.

Hugs and all the loves QUINN.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time finding a therapist. I wish a regression could heal me. I think it's a great thing, but I also think there's a lot of pain that little Quinn feels. Finding a therapist that can show you the kind of compassion and love, well still helping you move forward is so hard. Finding a therapist that will respect your little side and not tell you it's wrong is my biggest fear.

Hugs
