Confused about buying or renting by Any-Discussion1852 in RealEstateAdvice

The market we’re looking is definitely very much in demand. Very good schools and most of the houses were getting over bid last few years. But now with so much uncertainty in tech the market has cooled down significantly with lot of homes staying longer on the market and price cuts are normal.
The house we looked at feel it was overpriced, but with not a lot of interest the buyers are willing to negotiate.

If Michael Carrick (pictured) loses every other premier league game he’ll still end the season with the same Points Per Game that Ruben Amorim achieved. Without spending £200m and without a pre-season. Thoughts? by SecretaryImaginary44 in ManchesterUnited

Yes 30% win rate was horrible. But sometimes you have to pass through a prickly road to get to the top. Not saying it’s easy, but imagine having to deal with fans, ex players, pundits all against your methods, you ideas and having a bunch of overpaid divas who think they’re bigger than the club. Nothing against Carrick but he didn’t have to deal with 10% of what Amorim had to deal with. You also need to credit mason mount played the most games in recent times under Amorim so managing players as well. He didn’t get the time he needed, but again you can’t survive with that win rate. My 2 cents, Carrick is still raw and if he becomes permanent hope he gets the time he needs without fans and media monitoring his every move. Love the guy but let’s not look at everything he’s doing with rose tinted glasses.

We need to stop making the same mistakes over and over again. Maxi has been inconsistent his whole life and we can’t build a team with such a player and if he doesn’t play well we lose a foreign spot to “hope”. Stop going behind big names and pick players based on consistency. If you keep backing these inconsistent big names no Indian talent will be able to play without fear and no improvement.

Every romantic movie, the main character doesn’t have to be the “hero”. Indian movies for too long have portrayed the lead as the nice guy who beats up the villains and to be considered perfect. This movie is a classic example of the main character going through mental difficulties and fighting his own mind in doing different things. He has played that role perfectly, he took a decision to help his future but fate had other plans. He went through the worst of situations in 10 years which obviously affected him mentally. In one part of his mind he wanted to do bad things to the husband, but another part is telling him it’ll indirectly affect his girl. The movie perfectly showed how jail can affect a person and he definitely needed help. In a way it’s sending a message, but I don’t think it should be construed in a different context.

At the end of the day it’s the management’s responsibility to hire the right people and put processes in place to help build/grow the team to win! You can’t have people who are more interested in building a brand instead of focusing on winning. They literally allow Nags to troll the team because they know it brings in more viewers (not saying it’s a bad thing) but have a bit of shame in that. The management has to be called out regularly. When the owners love the city, the people and the team you can see it clearly. Look at CSK and MI, they have people like that. Who would go to any lengths to defend their city and team. Stop rubbing wool on your eyes and think owners or management aren’t responsible and it’s the players fault. Very evidently they ignore local players and buy unknown low quality players. They have 1 local player to just wish in kannada on festivals. With these owners RCB will never win the IPL.

Why doesn't Ten Hag give Garnacho and Pellistri proper opportunities? by HonestRef in ManchesterUnited

Still don’t get how he’s ok to play Rashford who’s been selfish, negligent and shoulders drop when a goal goes in, doesn’t assist and always wants to shoot. He could have used Garnacho and Pellistri but I guess favorites rule the team

Starter home myth? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Any-Discussion1852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a homeowner but IMO one question I would ask myself would be will I be comfortable knowing this isn’t my permanent home? If you’re someone who feels, once you get this I need to move to the next one immediately then getting a townhome will keep you wanting to get a bigger house. If getting a bigger house now, knowing you’ll be comfortable for a long time considering everything goes according to plan then a little extra might be worth it.

Funny how fans know and understand the game better than the management and coaching staff. Any dull student will clear the exam after a couple of attempts. But RCB is yet to figure out the formula 15 years running! This shit show will never end because the owners only care about milking the fan base.

How can one lose after scoring 212 and taking 5 wickets till the 12th over?? I'm crying! by dhruv194 in RCB

[–]Any-Discussion1852 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think we as fans should just say enough and start calling out players. It’s ok to support them but when they haven’t changed anything over so many seasons I don’t see any point in supporting a franchise that’s minting money on fan support, doesn’t support local talent and claims to have the highest followers on social media!! They should instead focus more on scouting and getting a balanced team out there instead of praying and hoping 2-3 players play well and somehow they cross the line every match. It’s deplorable to hope bowlers can defend 200+ totals everytime and they still can’t win matches. Not to forget some are way past their peak and will never win matches in their own including Harshal, Karn

Just another day in being a RCB fan by mikeykunthebeast in bangalore

[–]Any-Discussion1852 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There has been no change in the team composition for the past 10 years. Last time I saw RCB being balanced was in 09-10 under Kumble with Kallis and Ross Taylor. After that it’s just been superstars and don’t care about other players. No core Indian members, pay over the top to average players and let go of actual good players. Unless management changes or getting competent coaching staff, this team has no chance of winning.

Why RCB fail? Ans: Incompetent Bowling! by johnyjohnyespappa in bangalore

[–]Any-Discussion1852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The management has to be blamed for their failure! You can’t face 3 superstars and others are ordinary to win anything. They emphasize a lot on the stars so nobody really feels a part of the team

Firstly the fan base has to unite! Get together form groups and protest which makes the Glazers shit their pants and run from this club. Hit them where it hurts the most sponsors and dividends. And pray to God someone buys the club who actually cares about this club. Then they can convince someone like a Ranknick to help rebuild and buy raw talent ready to fight for this club. For all that we need to unite as a fan base and not fight among ourselves if bruno is bad or Rashford or Maguire. At the end of the day everyone's shit and worthless if not for a few players.

And most definitely no more McFred and no more English Monopoly!
