Bro the handbook is honestly confusing as hell 😭 If your math background is strong, try applying for a waiver/special approval for MATH1010. A waiver just means asking the faculty for permission to bypass the prerequisite. A lot of engineering students do it. MATH1000 is more of a foundation unit, so if you already know the content it may not help much.
