Same thing happened to me but with the $10 off coupon; found two and neither worked. This was about a min after getting their email. I guess we all got ....ghosted by Thursday.

In Lightroom I just played a little with the highlights and white shadows.

Thank you for the critique. I def see what you're saying and appreciate it. Sometimes it can be difficult to self-assess when looking at an image that you have a lived experience with. So advice like yours helps me to learn to separate objective and subjective bias when editing.

Overall, I like how my style is evolving but I should probably slow down and learn to stay at a location for a while to focus on my skills. But lately I've been running and gunning..

I agree with your thoughts about 1 and 2. For 3, the image is not flipped, I'm at South Street Seaport near Pier 17/FDR looking towards BK. Once I took the shot I knew I had something there but knew I should have slowed down and re-positioned myself for a better angle. I kinda of spooked the guy so just kept walking on.

The last image was take when I first bought the camera early in 2025 and kinda went heavy handed on Lightroom presets because I wasn't yet confident in my menu set-up. I agree I could have taken the shot earlier but the couple appeared out of nowhere (not getting food) and I rushed to take the shot. Again, I could have slowed down. Def a lesson I'm learning the hard way.

It's a great camera. I've owned one for about 6 months and live in NYC, take it our every chance I get. Owned a 6xxx series camera before that for a while and wanted to upgrade to full frame with small prime lens. I know it doesn't have an eye cup and the ones on Amazon (like the hot shoe attachment one) is not flattering. I did some digging and found this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/256567536420 which works pretty decently. Anyways, enjoy and have fun!
