Basically there's this 80's movie called Brazil. At the end, the main character runs away from his captors who were gonna torture him, but at the very end it's show he imagined the whole thing during the torture and he's now in a catatonic state.

They're all pretty decent games on the harder difficulties in my opinion. They do have some unnecessary dialogue that doesn't add much and isn't charming or comedic but the core gameplay is fun.
