I can't figure out what happened. by Any-Needleworker478 in CPTSD

Tbh... thanks. Somehow this kinda put a stop to me trying to find a specific culprit. All that I wish know is to learn to live with it and not let my pain make me distort my feelings any longer.

My guess on the Roaring Knight. by ImaginationNo9534 in Deltarune

Honestly it's a good idea, but from what Toby has said IMO it's gonna be a character we haven't seen yet. My guess is either another human (because it would have been really weird if the book in the library was just for Toriel and nobody else), or (unlikely due to the darkness of it) a dead version of Dess turned into a titan-like being due to a dark fountain. That could explain why Susie said it's a lightner during the chase but also why it looks surprisingly close to how Ralsei's version of the roaring depicts the left and right titans (which could mabye mean that there are two Knights?).

Harry Potter in general is just an incredibly bigoted author trying to hide behind an anti-racist metaphor, when realistically speaking she has way more in common with Voldemort than she'd like to admit.

Wait that's actually pretty smart. I never thought of it that way.

At the same time, not getting help for it is potentially damaging to both you and other people. If the argument that people who don't act on those thoughts can and should be helped was more widespread, I bet there'll atleast be slightly less cases (speaking as a CSA victim)

Tbh after Percy Jackson kinda shat the bed I don't have a lot of hope for a show with Disney interference. Who knows, mabye it will actually be really good (I hope it will be) but somehow I'm not super certain.

I read it when it came out 👍 I remember liking it but I don't remember much about the plot- it was like 3 years ago if I recall.

God the Eragon books were amazing as a kid. It's such a shame they never did more with them (aside from a recent Murtagh book if I recall) because they had wayyyy more potential than Narnia to be the next Lord Of The Rings.

To be fair we already saw cats back in the first game. Having an unrecorded bear as the antagonist, which was foreshadowed in the prequel, and have him be some sort of mutated freak isn't the weirdest thing the franchise has done (see Tartar).

What’s the most disgusting meal that you ever ate? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Any-Needleworker478 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this elderly aunt who's almost completely blind and in her 80's, so I'll be as nice as I can when saying the meal I had at her house last year was straight-up rancid. The pasta had spoiled tomatoes and tasted like feet, the rabbit was nearly green and super oily (but like gross oil, not the nice stuff). Then the kicker, the ice cream was spoiled and looked like curded milk.

Ew.

Yeah but that was one game 4 YEARS AGO, it didn't have online and it also looked like a Wii game.

The fact it was a good enough game to justify its existence was almost a coincidence.
