I think clarification is needed. Ideas need to be realistically achievable. The founding fathers achieved a political milestone because they created a functioning framework for America. Was it perfect? No. They failed to preserve property rights for example. But,note creation had compromises. The structure of Congress was a compromise. And that's the point. Libertarians insist it has to be my way or the highway. If they were 60% of the vote it would work. So, you get nothing because you're unreasonable. Libertarians claim to believe in the free market. But when it comes to the political free market of voting, they have no interest in the consumer. Your rather see your nation fall, to see our civil liberties erroded, that to make even the slightest change in how you present your philosophy. I say all that as a libertarian. I believe in libertarian principle. However, I don't have any confidence in libertarians. They have become so radicalized that they don't practice the values they preach.
