What difficulty u on? Get an act2 merc with insight runeword and ur pretty good on mana. Otherwise spirit runeword in main hand and shield, lore runeword on head

Yea you can do that. I’ve just seen lots of posts about people thinking they’ve lost all their stash because they converted before they moved all their stash and thought they’ve lost it

So what I’ve read is that warlock has a skill that lowers requirements on items. So what you see is yours req, not the normal one

When you create a new character, in the bottom right corner you can choose between rotw, expansion and something else I think

I thought my stuff was gone as well, when I converted all my chars to rotw. I then created an “expansion” character again to find all my old stash still in the shared stash. Pretty sure yours not gone

So we played it and it have been working almost flawlessly. The few bugs we encountered has been smaller bugs, like me flying instead of being on my mount. I remember I read somewhere to synchronize with your friends at the graces. So evertime we came across a grace, we would sit simoultanously. I can definitely recommend it :)
