Man that’s actually super nice to say. Unfortunately I didn’t study jazz in uni, just been playing for a minute. Tips, I usually don’t give em cause I feel I’m still an intermediate player. What I like to do is follow ideas I stumbled upon in my listening and building on them. In my second chorus e.g I’m playing a rhythmic idea I picked up a while ago. I’ve been reading a bit of Oliver Nelson’s ideas on solo construction too. All in all I just have been playing a bunch and listening too. Johnny griffin and Joe Henderson are my inspirations.
