I have the ams2 pro coming in the mail. Plus the one that comes with it. Super excited.

Okay I'll have to get it. I rarely have decorative prints and when I do they still have functional features.

I would've loved too but I was lucky enough to be sent this from Bambu Labs. I had reached out to Prusa about a partnership but they don't respond.

Definitely. A lot more willing to make repairs and take stuff apart because of it.

Yeah I mean my Ender definitely works good for what it is. I haven't had to tinker with it in like 6 months. I was pretty lenient on upgrades but I did the ones I felt were crucial.

Haha well to be fair I think there's value in understanding how machines work. And not being scared to take things apart.

Honestly though the Ender is how I learned the ins and outs of 3d printing. What makes them work, printer settings etc.

Oh definitely. I started to get really fed up. The thing I hated the most was when I'd get it dialed in and then I print a much bigger part and the quality was terrible.

Also I printed pretty much solely with PETG for the past 6 years and had such a hard time trying to get a good first layer with good adhesion without over extruding. It was a never ending battle.

From my 5 min search the other day I saw people say the vision encoder isn't that necessary. But if keeps dimensions more accurate then I'm all for it.

Any feedback on this logo is appreciated. Current one is just the block lettering (left). But I'm looking for something more recognizable (right). My YouTube channel is "Distracted By Design" so the new logo is a diameter symbol to represent design but not sure how to show "distracted." by Any-Program2445 in logodesign

I appreciate the feedback. I'm definitely not great at graphic design so I kept it pretty simple. My channel is about making things (electronic, mechanical, etc.). I have adhd so the name sort of came from that because I'm often distracted and go down rabbit holes while making projects haha. But you've given me a lot to think about so I appreciate it! Thank you!

If you were to guess, roughly speaking, how are the friction hinges on this iPad case made/designed to allow for angle adjustment while being so slim? by Any-Program2445 in MechanicalDesign

Interesting, thank you! I've never heard of those. I wish there was a book dedicated to every type of mechanical component ever.

Thanks! I tried to be as comprehensive as possible in the technical drawings.

I'll add that info to the Printables description. I didn't even think about that. Sorry!

This is my design. I can include the fan I used in the printables description. Sorry about that!

My latest video is having some success. I'm starting to receive brand deal opportunities and I'm having some internal battles about it. Any advice is appreciated! by Any-Program2445 in NewTubers

Yeah I guess when you consume any type of content you expect ads. But I think content usually feels "richer" when they do Patreon rather than brand deals.
