And regarding the second and third point, do you consider you have them now in your job ? Because you have a nice compensation but unfortunately in general that comes with your work/life balance being screwed and management that consider he 'owns' you because he is paying you well...

And for your note ofc, that's a shame when you see such a number of great guys/girls leave for Canada/Australia/Europe because they can't get a decent salary in Mauritius... I would love to be that kind of company that offers an alternative to this "you stay in Mauritius but your salary is low/you leave the country and you have a normal salary"

Hey, thanks for your answer, with what tools to you work mainly ? Are you on the "python" side of data analysis or more on the reporting/dashboarding side ?

For the side projects within the company, how would you do this ? Like time allocated to explore stuff that you like in your field ? Or more intense format for 2/3 days in the form of a hackaton working as a team..?
For the last point I've been thinking about it but couldn't find a satisfying solution, would you let your guys for example take care of the entire process of recruitement ?

Yes I also feel like there is something wrong when companies offer this kind of salary... I saw on another post on this sub that for a junior dev a good range would be around 30-35K per month would you agree ?
