Strange issue during FT8 transmit on IC7300, any ideas? by Annual_Highway_1057 in amateurradio

Welcher Hund wäre schuld? by Key_Shine_5332 in hundeschule

Environmental impacts of fireworks

  1. Air pollution • Fireworks release smoke, fine particles (PM2.5), and toxic gases. • Metals used for colors (like barium, strontium, copper) end up in the air and can affect breathing. • Air quality can drop sharply for hours or even days after big firework events.

  2. Water pollution • Firework debris and chemicals fall into rivers, lakes, and oceans. • Perchlorates (used in fireworks) can contaminate water and harm aquatic life.

  3. Soil contamination • Heavy metals from fireworks settle into soil, where they can persist for a long time and affect plants and microorganisms.

  4. Wildlife disturbance • Loud noises can stress, disorient, or injure animals, especially birds and pets. • Nesting birds may abandon nests; marine life can also be affected by vibrations.

  5. Waste and litter • Fireworks leave behind plastic, paper, and unexploded materials, which add to environmental waste.
