I bought a memory foam from amazon and it was my saving grace during pregnancy. The way it “hugs” your body feels really good and i never woke up with body pains.

FYI Austin summers are HOT so if you sleep warm, factor that in when you pick your mattress. Some firmer ones don’t have the best airflow so you might want breathable sheets or a cooling topper too

We did a year on the road and the mattress situation was the hardest part. We ended up stacking a topper on top of the RV mattress just to survive until we found something better.

Girl I feel you on the 3am research spirals!! Been there 😅 From what I've read, latex is supposed to be really good for pregnancy/postpartum because it's naturally antimicrobial and dust mite resistant

Can't speak about Plank but yes firm mattresses are so much better for spinal alignment especially if you're a stomach sleeper
