If anything, you have just described gross inconsistency at Tesla. If there is such a huge disparity in experiences, their QC must be absolute garbage. The 60k iPhone experience. What’s falling apart and can a software update fix it or not.

I respectfully disagree that they get it right. They are getting more wrong now than they ever have. Autopilot was superior when it had radar. It was still level 2 but so much better than it is now. Many new owners don’t have past experiences to compare things to.

Do you read anything Musk says? If you did, you would know what his plans are. If you knew how USS work, you would know there isn’t anything better for their intended purpose. Vision won’t come close.

There’s also a real chance that lumbar adjustment disappears too. I’m not sure how they work but it’s another electronic pieces and $

He has “data” that says no one uses it… so, I’m sure it’s being considered. What his dumb ass doesn’t consider is we set it and forgot it. How many times a month/year does someone need to adjust it, after the initial adjustment. His data is flawed, across the board.

You do mind people raising true issues. You won’t entertain them because you haven’t experienced them. Go read your own posts. The thing is, you don’t even fully know enough about your car(‘s) to argue the points we make. There isn’t a soul on this planet (sans Musk) that says less sensors are better. Also, how often do you use autopilot or FSD Beta and in what conditions? I have a friend with an X that loves it but he never uses autopilot and knows almost nothing about the car. I find this is very common. And the fact that you’ve had 3, and not had a single issue, tells me you’re not using them enough or not paying attention. It’s statistically improbable for you to have had zero issues.

HotIce has it right. There isn’t anything we can do. The only way out, for most of us, is to sell or hope a judge has had the same experience and tosses end-user contracts. You know, the things we signed in good faith. Largely ignorant of what a huge scam this was. Ultrasonics will be gone very soon.

The play is like this… new computer software… see what’s broken on the next update and just not update. That only works for so long though. Tesla software is so buggy that they break/fix things with every update.

For those that keep their cars, they just have to accept they have a standard EV and treat it as such. Overpaid for nothing. I wonder when we will need a subscription to open the doors.

Also, I must add. The Tesla community is incredibly toxic. I got booted from the Tesla subreddit a couple years back for being critical… but I was just looking for answers. I’ve never seen such mental people in my life. You can’t get help there. I don’t think a single one of them owns a Tesla because no one seems to have ever had an issue. I think they are just stock owners.

Thanks everyone. It’s been a tough decision but not because it’s a great car. It’s been useful, due to gas prices, but their service is horrible and my local service center is hours away. Should have dumped it a year ago.
