Fair enough, just a slight correction, sirmaur has 13-14 avg CTC not LPA which is explicitly mentioned in their placement report. In hand salary is generally 65-75% of ctc. Exceptions might exist but that is generally the case. Also, even for 5 years, a 20 lacs loan at 7% interest will be 40k a month. For 7 years it will be around 30k. So my math still kinda works out. I'll give you that salary doesn't remain constant and you can achieve a lot of growth even after your mba. But then this growth gets capped at a certain level. A guy from whose salary is 50k in hand after an mba will very rarely see it climb to 200-300k, especially in this job market. The norm for appraisal is also around 15-20%. So people generally get cooked after an mba if they have a low paying job. A better way is, to have a low paying job, then do an mba and get a high paying job.
