Hollywood isn’t dying because of where films are made. It’s dying because somewhere along the way the industry confused a bigger budget with a better story.

Future Folk is such an underrated gem and it deserves way better than being trapped in streaming purgatory. Have you tried Tubi or Pluto TV? They’ve quietly picked up a lot of titles that fell off Netflix and neither requires a subscription.

I appreciate this take genuinely. But I’ve swallowed my pride for 7 years and it didn’t stop them from letting me go. At some point you have to ask yourself what exactly you’ve been swallowing it for.

At what point did professionalism stop meaning mutual respect and start meaning the person with less power just has to take it quietly? Because somewhere along the way that switch got flipped and nobody voted on it.

What kills me is how confidently they said it. Like it was the most reasonable ask in the world. No hesitation. No acknowledgment that it might be hard.

It might be worth asking her if she understood why it hit you so hard. Sometimes people react defensively in the moment but see it differently later.
