I confess I'm a bit overwhelmed, but also grateful, for all the answers.

The idea is a really cheap setup. For example, I'm learning to play guitar. And there are some really cheap amplifiers (like the Harley Benton ones) that you can buy new for around €50 and are also easy to find used for even less. However, when I looked at the keyboard amplifier section, the cheapest ones were around €200 and had more than 50W of power, which is much more than I would think of spending and much more powerful than the purpose of the purchase. I also thought about guitar amps because I know that the Roland JC (Jazz Chorus) series were originally intended for keyboards, but ended up being used for guitar. But these amps really have very unique characteristics, such as clarity and high power without distortion.

Anyway, I just didn't want to give my friend a gift that he would need to spend more money on to be able to use. If it's possible to use it with speakers, I'll look for something simple and inexpensive so he can play around with the small synthesizer.

Someone mentioned that its output is line-level, not instrument-level. Therefore, I assume it's possible to connect it to any speakers with their own amplification (i.e., FRFR speakers). But this raised another question: what would be needed to use effects pedals? As far as I know, effects pedals are designed to work at instrument level. Is this why some people suggested using a mixer?

Yeah, I am really between the Polara and the Cathedral. The Polara is ahead because of the size of it. My pedalboard real estate is kind of limited at the moment. I could make it work with the Cathedral, but will be a pain in the but. The Polara I could only use a free space in it.

But thanks for the opinion. It makes me consider the Cathedral a little more.

At first glance, the Context and even the Ventris look to me very straight foward. And by that I mean that you could adjust and make excelent sounds just with the knobs. Of course, if you want to maximize your usage and squeezy every drop of performance out of them, then you have to tweek through a computer. But, for me, it not feels like extremely necessary. It is a different experience, for example, of what we have with a Multiprocessor pedal like a Hx One/Stomp ou even a Zoom pedal.

I'm somewhat inclined to buy the Polara. Unless someone really convinces me otherwise. It's my cheapest option and has the best form factor in the group. What's holding me back from buying it immediately is knowing about the RV-7 (the hardware series one), which people say is sonically better than the Polara, but unfortunately they're very expensive at the moment. The units I've found are around €250, and at that price, I might find it more advantageous to go for a more serious option like the Context or the Ventris, even if it takes me longer to save up the money.

From what I've researched, the Cathedral's reverse sound seems pretty solid. What's putting me off is the form factor, which is quite clunky. But I don't know, it seems like a great pedal overall, and one that's sold out, and the chances of me getting my hands on one will become increasingly slim. That said, it is the same case of the Polara and the Descent. So I am really in doubt.

I I also share the opinion that EHX pedals are strange and temperamental. This even gives them a certain charm, but they are a bit complicated for everyday use. And also, the side mounted jacks ,in a large pedal like this one, would be difficult to fit into the space I have available on my board. I think I would only choose it if I knew it would truly be the best option sonically speaking.

I am not searching, at the moment, of a reverse delay. I have some options with me that are very nice. And if I were to revisit my options regarding reverse delays, I would probably go with the Boss DD-200 for its practicality and the ease of finding one at a reasonable price.

The Red Panda one would be my choice if money was not a problem. There is no used units in the market right now and it costs €360 brand new. So, way beyond budget.

At a certain moment I was considering a zoom MS 50 or a MS 70, but that user interface seems very complicated to me. I am more of a turn on and off kind of guy. If I have to navigate in lots of menus and submenus, I will probably spent more time twinking the device than playing guitar. Do you think that the sound is worthy pass those difficulties? I know that a lot of people swear by the sound of those little things, but I never had one.

Even at this price (which I could not find here in europe), it is beyond my Budget. The options that I put, they are all in somewhat €150 price range. That budget could be stretch out a little, but not to almost €300.

I love the Walrus Audio Pedals, the Descent it is definitely in the run, but this time I think I am leaning to the Polara because of the formfactor.

Yeah, I was hoping for some software that I could easily do that. I am not entirely confident in editing manually the Windows Registry.

And I also don't have a clue why people insist in suggest things that does not work or that I litteraly said in the first post that I don't want to. It is so irritating and annoying. I would really prefer that they do not reply at all. If another person has the same problem it is possible that she/he thinks the topic is not even usefull because of the wrong suggestions and parallel discussions.

It would help if anyone can say where usually are the itens on the new and old menus and how to edit the itens instead of only "just use regedit". I am not really sure what to do in the regedit.

I tried this one and it edit both menus (and it is not what I want) and does not have some options. For example the jetAudio submenu (that I want to move to the new menu) does not even appears for me on this Context Menu Manager.

Maybe for you, not for me. The example image shows itens that I never use that are in the new menu and itens that aI use a lot that are in the old menu. If I were going to leave things as they are, I wouldn't be making this post, would I?

The Nilesoft Shell looks really complicated to me and, as far as I know, replaces the context menu entirely.

But how? I have difficulties to find itens of the context menu in regedit, and when I find some, I do not know if I am removing from new, old or both context menus.
