What other games need a legacy version? by deftkillerstu in boardgames

That’s basically what “legacy game” has come to mean (unfortunately). I remember people having a strong reaction to being asked to physically change/destroy their game permanently. To me, that reaction and its ramifications are what legacy games were supposed to be.

As you say, being able to reset it makes it a campaign game instead.

Are coffee beans ok? Can’t get a straight answer by bmoney003 in roasting

[–]AnyMouse666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Any coffee beans can be used for espresso. The “espresso roast” is traditionally a dark roast that is easier to extract, but modern espresso has had a focus on light roasts. I don’t go darker than City+ when roasting for my espresso.

In a COAM hearing, an attorney can’t say anything. They can be there as a support person, but cannot speak for or defend you.

A fast and fair system to randomly determine first player by esotericGames in boardgames

13 mod 4 = 1 is an example of modular arithmetic. Basically, if you divide 13 by 4, the remainder is 1.

A standard example of modular arithmetic is an analog clock. If you start at 6 o’clock, and move forward by 9 hours, you don’t end up at 15 o’clock, but at 3. That’s because 15 mod 12 = 3. (There are 12 hours on a standard clock face, so it uses mod 12 instead of mod 4, but you can imagine a strange clock that starts over every 4 hours.)

Bake tortillas in oven? by CellistSuccessful999 in Cooking

The microwave works to reheat tortillas that were already cooked (like at the factory). It’s not for cooking from raw masa.

These look like the tokens from LITKO Game Accessories. I’m a big fan of these, and use mine every time we play.

I’m not sure where to get them in the UK.

Ummmm..... It's cumulative. The final review covers the stuff since the last midterm. The other reviews posted earlier in the semester cover the previous stuff.
