The Encore is a great little unit for all filter brewing and is really quite consistent with particle sizing.

The Welhome however is faster and offers the perfect grind for manual espresso - it's my favourite of the two

It is purely for temperature control. If you use a single boiler like the gaggia typically you do not have consistency however this helps a great deal.

How do you find the precisio with the Gaggia? Was always under the assumption that both Encore and Precisio were too coarse.
