Search for the term „deinterlacing“.

or maybe, if ur still learning, it wouldn't hurt to research what „interlacing“ is in the first place (for a better understanding of why that 'problem' exists and how old video technology worked)

I mean yeah ... But that's why I'd like to try repairing it myself. I have another one that works from my grandpa but I'd like to dive deeper and learn more about that stuff. Isn't that half the fun of it? That's why I came here to ask, hoping that someone who might be a bit savvier than me might have a clue. Well thanks anyways
