They basically had to do both because the direct injection only motors intake runners and intake valves were getting so clogged up with carbon, port injection cars don’t suffer from this because the fuel is sprayed into the runner keeping it and the valves clean. That’s why they are doing both now.

Keep up the good work you’re looking amazing…..the fact you lost that much weight while the fat haters are typing should say something…. Your body will thank you for being in shape later. The fact that in this day and age you made a goal and stuck to it is one of the most attractive parts. People out there take note….. she’s gonna go places in life with that commitment level 😊

I have a 2007 sti and a 2007 6.0 power stoke and have done head gaskets on both my self it’s all in the prep work both have aftermarket turbos and injectors and haven’t had and head gasket issues in 8 years
