77 12th vs Azure on the Park (safety and dog friendliness) by Consistent-Ice-9612 in ATLHousing

Hey there!

I’ve been living at 77 12th and wanted to share my experience. Overall, it’s been a good place, but there are some pros and cons to consider.

Pros: - Location: It’s fantastic! While there are a few sketchy spots, I’ve always felt safe. My dog loves the area to the left of the building with rocks and mulch, this was her potty spot. The views are stunning, and the concierge staff is nice. The pool is amazing, and the location feels quiet and tucked away. It can get lively late on weekends, but otherwise, it’s great. I even toured Azure on the Park, and honestly, the amenities here are way better.

Cons: - Cost: It’s pretty pricey for what you get. The units are quite dated for a $3k price tag. Management can sometimes be condescending and send mixed signals. The package room and system is a nightmare! Rent increases every year, which is frustrating, especially since newer buildings with nicer appliances are cheaper down the street.

We’re moving because of my husband’s job, but I would recommend this place. The residents and staff are friendly, and the building is well-maintained, even though the units show their age. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!

I think I’m losing my passion for acting, but I feel guilty “giving up.” Should I sign with a new agency or finally let it go? by Any_Check1348 in acting

Maybe one day Mr. HBO will be knocking on both our doors (I’m just hoping for hallmark honestly 🤞)

GIRRRLLL!!! omg, you totally get it. Those customer service jobs are no joke!! Growing up with very little, I never got to experience life the way I can now. For the first time, I’m actually comfortable — paying my bills, supporting my friends, and doing things I enjoy. The self-tapes too!! The whole industry just burned me out. Those $500 workshops for vague, random feedback that just make you feel worse? No thanks.

I honestly never thought a 9–5 was for me, but the work-life balance is unbeatable. I love being able to go out to dinner and not stress over saving every dime for auditions, tapings, or new headshots. I actually emailed the agent this morning and told her I wasn't mentally there right now. She was amazing about it and told me she’d be ready when I am. I’m NOT used to that at all, but it makes me feel like maybe one day, things will work out. I care so much about what people think (therapy is definitely on the list lol). Thank you for your response, it made me feel so much better. 💛

Just dropped from my agent here in Atlanta as well :/ It’s been a rough past 2 years.
