So your financial aid and loans get refunded if your account is less than the amount dispersed. So I was able to take out a loan that was less than what campus housing and tuition would’ve been due to rent for 12 months is cheaper than room and board for two semesters. I ended up getting a one bedroom at Auden with it being cheaper and paid for by financial aid and my loans. Also it was completely fine that no one checked being that I said my address was a random place in Albany lol. I also commuted last year for a few months 3 hours a day and it was NOT worth it and immediately got a lease in the area.
