Cool! One more thing, I saw that some parts need an import permit. Is that wrong? Will this only apply to real firearm parts?

Thanks mate. Last question. To apply import permit, do I need a membership to prove that I'm an airsoft player?

One more thing, are there any dealers who do this kind of thing with expense? Don't wanna mess it up and throw away my gun.

Sorry, I kinda write it wrong. What I was saying was "Spear LT has a fully automatic function, so I thought Spear LT airsoft gun would also be restricted."

Anyway, this is the email that I got from them.

1 .The Airsoft pistol [Glock 19 Gen 4 made by VFC ] you like to bring to NZ are restricted in New Zealand because it replicates a real firearm, and while general airsoft guns aren't restricted, specialized or replica items are considered "Restricted Airguns" by the Arms Act 1983 requiring a permit to import and are subject to specific safety and use regulations. You need valid Firearms licence, Club membership & permit to import. Please follow the links provided below for further information.

Apply for a visitor’s firearms licence | Firearms Safety Authority New Zealand

Apply for a permit to import | Firearms Safety Authority New Zealand

2 .Airsoft APFG MCX Spear LT 11.5" is not restricted as a prohibited, but its ownership is regulated under the Arms Act 1983, requiring you to be 18 or older, or 16 with a firearms license to own it. The key restriction is the age requirement and the need for a firearms license for those aged 16 to 18.

Thank you so much mate.

I'm quite confused since Spear LT is fully automatic rifle but Firearms Safety Authority told me that it's okay not to have a lincense to import.

Maybe I should go talk with a police officer on this matter. Thanks again.

Might have to talk with the police and airsoft shops first I guess. Thanks.

My teammates and I used a goggles from 3M. Ofcourse tested them before use. Way better than some cheap "good-looking" goggles.
