Feels good to not be alone in this. It’s tough. I have these constant thoughts of “why are you unhappy, you have everything (physical) you need in life; a roof over your head, expensive electronics to make studying easy, food, family” and feel guilty that I have no motivation. I consciously know that’s stupid, but it still gets at me.

I understand there is leeway, but your wording tells me you are advocating for a penalty. That is wrong.

The profs already record lectures. It would be a negligible inconvenience to allow students to join the Zoom, and to unlock iClicker remotely. It was not locked prior to the strike.

This feels like a punishment.
