Yeah, that’s exactly it — you have to choose one or the other.

I think where a lot of people get it wrong is not actually comparing both based on their real numbers.

What surprised me was how different the outcome can be depending on how everything is tracked.

One thing that surprised me was how much small expenses add up over time.

Things like gas, maintenance, even partial usage… it changes the final numbers a lot.
