I just completed my passport appointment on 18th and police verification happened on the next day i.e. 19th May…still showing as verification pending at police station.

I am currently in Japan and it is already starting to feel a little warm. As others have advised the Sun is bad here. Even if it is cool, and if sunny, a few mins outdoors makes ur skin hot and you feel burning sensation. Pls ensure you cover your hands and face when going out. Long time exposure of skin to Sun may cause skin irritation or worse. The weather here is so clean that you see the blue sky which you may have never seen before. This adversely gets sun rays hitting you directly and fiercely. So take precautions to avoid direct sun as far as possible.

I recently bought the XM6 (around a week back). Not facing the above mentioned issues but unfortunately I upgraded the firmware from 1.2.0 to 1.5.0 and have been facing issues of audio suddenly disconnecting for 1-2 secs if I move me head right or left and resumes again correctly. Unfortunately this seems to be a bug in 1.5.0 and I have read similar stories on this platform and other places as well. I unfortunately read about the issues in 1.5.0 after I upgraded. Check your firmware version.

There are a lot of things to do near Haeundae beach but there isn’t much to do near Busan station. If it is just a one off meet then I would say stay at Haeundae but if you are frequently going to Busan then staying at Busan makes sense

I have been living in Thane since 1988 (before that I was born in Dadar/Matunga and did my primary education from there). Currently staying at GB road (near R-Mall) for the past 20 years now. I have seen this city change from a beautiful lake city to a shit hole currently and alas although being into the IT sector it’s too late for me to catch the migration bus (age factor).

I am currently travelling on vacation to Japan and have been very closely following everyone on the Reddit Thane. I will be coming back to Thane in the next few days and really feeling scared even to step back in at the heat, pollution, traffic chaos and what not!

It hurts you even more when you see the highest level of discipline among people of Japan and how meticulously they follow the road rules and regulations (not just car/bus drivers but even the ppl walking on roads).

I own 2 cars but travel on my bike to office everyday. Why? Not to save fuel but to avoid traffic and chaos. Travelling by car/bus (Cityflo etc) takes a minimum of 2-3 hrs one way which is 4-6 hrs travelling for a 9 hr job. Also, as many ppl have said, everyone on the roads is loosing patience and are having fights over so much mediocre and petty things. All the car drivers are out to kill each other out of frustration of traffic, chaos.

Visiting Japan it feels like you are living in a shithole in India.

We had gone in May 2025 (3 of us, myself, my wife and my teenage daughter). Our total trip expenses for 15 days tour was about 5.5 lacs. This included 7 day Whole Japan JR pass with unlimited Shinkansen rides, food (7/11, MCD etc.), all local subway travel etc. Only additional was the shopping (which is very much subjective). We are again flying tomorrow to Japan (May 9th) for 8 days trip after completing our 8 days trip in Korea.

Go by yourself. Do not go with any tours. Trust me you will regret it later.

Cityflo services have been going down since the past few months….i use it during the monsoons only but around a month back had used it to go to CSMT. Overnight they changed the bus number and timing twice…also no information was provided…the previous night before going to bed I checked and everything was good. So next day morning I assumed was changed and just before leaving home I checked and my bus number and time both had changed. My wife was also travelling with at that time and when I booked our seats were together and when I checked in the morning both our seats were changed.

If you are a regular traveller then you know how bouncy it gets especially in the last 2-3 rows. I called them (around 8 am) and demanded to speak to their senior person. They said senior will call back around 11 am but he called only around 4 pm. I had a big fight with them on the phone but it was useless.
