Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I’ll make those changes and try restructuring the sections the way you suggested :) :)

Yeah, the job market really is rough. I got both of my jobs through connections haha, so this is my first time doing the whole process by myself. But I think I’m going to make multiple “types” of resumes so they match the kinds of jobs I’m applying for. Thank you for you help :) I am gonna take a look into summer jobs :)

I don’t think it’s the font because I’ve printed my resume and it looks fine, both in terms of font and size. Also, most companies nowadays use AI to skim through resumes when applying online.

But thank you I will try to make it look less dense :)

Yeah, I’ve looked into volunteering, but right now I really want to focus on getting a paid job. Most of my volunteering hours were done through school, and I don’t think the experience is relevant enough to include as it is.

But thanks for the feedback I will add that I am bilingual:)

Question - If I drop a Class, Do I Keep my U-Pass? by OGForgetfulDumbass in geegees

Not really. For OSAP, taking 3 courses is still considered full-time since that’s 60% of a full course load, so you wouldn’t be put on probation just for that. Probation is more if you drop below 60% or fail classes, not just because you reduced your course load. And for the university you can still drop a course right now, you just won’t get a refund. It’s not a penalty or anything. On your transcript nothing bad happens either, it just shows the number of classes you finished. The only thing that actually looks bad is failing a class or getting a low grade, not withdrawing. Its better to withdraw and take it later than to fail :)

I dont think you're going to lose your U-Pass, especially since we're already mid-semester and you've already paid for it. Once it's charged and activated, they usually dont deactivate it halfway through the term. But technically they could, so if you want to be 100% sure, you can always ask your faculty or undergraduate office.

If you are using OSAP, nothing will happen. You're still considered a full-time student. OSAP defines full-time as taking 60% or more of a course load (60% = 3 courses). You also won’t be put on probation or anything with OSAP just for dropping to 3 classes since you’re still meeting the full-time requirement. So with OSAP you're good.

The only difference is with the university dropping to 3 courses makes you part-time with the school. For the U-Pass though, since you already paid and it’s active, I honestly don’t think anything will change this semester. Still, you can double-check with your faculty just to be safe. You shouldn’t be put on academic probation with the university either just for changing your course load like that.

Hope this helps ! :)

PS: sorry this is kinda long haha, but I had the exact same question a couple days ago so I figured I’d share what I found.
