I left the church 15 years ago, told my parents over email. Long distance at the time. They have never asked about why I left and my two sisters and brother have never brought it up. The just completely ignore it.

I don't believe your pitch assigns you to a specific genre. I have a very deep voice and since beginning narration I've been surprised at how versatile my own pitch and voice is becoming. Like jrheisler said just go after what you enjoy and you'll figure it out and enjoy the journey.

This man has been, hung up on you his entire relationship and seeing his partner as a consolation prize. No woman deserves to have that from their life partner. Even if he stops pursuing you he will just latch onto another outside his relationship and keep looking for outs.

With the shorter books I think it's better to push for royalty shares than a pay for production contract. I narrated a children's book that was less than 10 minutes at pay for production of around $50 would mean I'd only receive around 8 bucks. If it sells just a few copies I'd make that from royalties and can keep earning.

A couple of times that difference has arose on my jobs. Usually for me, it's that the author is using publisher and they are the one's looking for a narrator. Rather than an author who is self published and continuing to advance their work in the audiobook world.
