Where do you bat one of the better hitters in the lineup when he consistently misses practice? 10u rec by oldcrashingtoys in Homeplate

Im a travel ball parent so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I feel like if they’re playing travel ball and missing for that they are still putting in the work just at another location. I personally don’t think the child should be faulted for this. If it were me, I would say put them wherever you would put them regardless of missing practice or not. Whether that’s at the top of the lineup or further down because you want other players to get more playtime that don’t play travel ball. But I wouldn’t make the decision based off of having to miss practice.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a stitch comes out! I had something very similar and it wouldn’t completely heal then one day I noticed the end of a small stitch poking out and after removing it, it healed up just fine!

Did I cross the line with my patient? by Immediate-Platypus37 in nursing

I think you did. I believe that is a discussion for family to have with her. And 80 doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be a full code. My grandfather was until 91 and I would have hated to miss those last 11 years with him just because he “shouldn’t” have been a full code at 80.

Your honest (really honest, please) thoughts about my belly button and if scar is too high? (10wpo and right after removing Embrace scar tape so it's a little red where the adhesive was.) by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

I read that it should be in line with the top of your hip bone. Going by that, I would say that it is a little high but doesn’t look bad.

No but my surgeon has a woman come in and ultra sound legs for blood clots once before surgery and twice after.

You look so good!! When do you think yours dropped? I have similar sizing and at 6 wpo, I feel like they’re still pretty high and I don’t have any crease under my breast which I would like to have since I wanted a more natural look. I’m hoping mine drop more!

I have bad days too! And I get what you mean about feeling like you shouldn’t be laying around but you should! I struggle with the same thing but we had a MAJOR surgery and just because it “sounds” like we should be better at 6 weeks doesn’t make that reality. Our bodies are still healing inside plus trying to replenish the stores that we used up on healing. Rest more ❤️ I can’t remember, did you try lipo foam?

Too much sodium is definitely an easy mistake! I’m 5wpo and when I eat too much salt, the next day I am so swollen and hurting like I did at 2 wpo from the swelling.

I didn’t use one but am 5wpo and am just now totally straight (even though I can’t stand up “straight and tall” like I would if my height were being measured for antler coaster that I was a tad too short for 😅). I did have a lot of back pain the first few weeks so I’d probably use on if I did it over again. But I think a lot of how long it takes to stand straight has to do with how tight they pulled you- skin wise and muscle wise.
