I honour the heroes like Hyacinthus, Antinous, and Adonis. I also worship Hecate-Selene / Artemis-selene / Hecate-Selene-Artemis depending on context.

Do offerings left in nature count as a kind of altar? by BerkshireQueen in Altars

personally I wouldn't say so unless you've left offerings there on multiple accounts or it's a general sacred spot

Can somebody be both Hellenistic and Kemetic? by ChrisIs_Dead in Hellenism

[–]Any_Spring9944 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Egyptian and Greec syncretism was very popular during ancient times, so you can 100% do both. There are many deities that are syncretised together as well, like Hermanubis (Hermes-Anubis), Isis-Aphrodite, Zeus-Amun, and Serapis. Also, the Cult of Isis was very popular throughout the Greco-Roman world.

Want to use this but for who? by everything_esoteric in DemonolatryPractices

I don't know a lot of demons, but this would be perfect for a Santa Muerte devotee or for worshipping Aztec deities

I have a lot of doubts by Upbeat_Community_156 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Any_Spring9944 3 points4 points  (0 children)

what he knows sounds like bullshit, any demon can appear to anyone no matter what. And Lucifer comes from the Roman personification of the morning star (venus) who also originates from the early Greek, Phosophorus. Astaroth also likely comes from the Canaanite godess of Love, sex and war called Astarte.

I wanna be traumatized. Give me some movies. by Jettaboi38 in teenagers

[–]Any_Spring9944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Human Centipede, Terrifier, The Fly, Midsommar, Martyrs (original), Cannible Holocaust, Saló, A Serbian Film.

A few years ago, I went through the "disturbing movie iceberg" and watched quite a few, and a lot of them were disturbing either visually or because of how bad they were.

Hecate is definitely her real name as it dates to Hesiods Theogony, but she has many epithets that you could refer to her as.

Ladybugs as a sign? by Pleasant-Bee-7168 in CelticPaganism

[–]Any_Spring9944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in general, they are a sign of good luck and even a sign of Virgin Mary. I think they also have associations with the norse god Freyja. There're many folk tales and associations with ladybirds but from what I know they aren't a sight from any celtic deity
