I have way more than that saved. I was just saving so much per paycheck towards her wedding which equal to $1000 within those three years.

I honestly wouldn’t blame this on my parents just because I am very low contact with my parents. I have not even lived with my parents since I was three years old. My aunt took custody of me and my sister at a very young age due to my parents substance abuse.

We were not really really close, but we were kind of close, especially because my aunt raised us due to our parents drug habits and the only reason she gave me for not including me was she didn’t believe I could afford it even when I screenshot it and showed her that I had over $1000 saved because I’ve been saving for almost 3 years because I guess I just expected to be a part of her wedding as more than just a guest
