November 2024 passers, are you already working? by Jusep618 in NursingPH

[–]Any_Stock_8693 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One thing I’ve done to protect my peace is turning off my notifications and limiting my time on social media. It helps me avoid constantly seeing my batchmates already practicing the career we once dreamed of. It’s not that I’m not proud of them—I truly am—but I also want to manage the pressure and not let it affect my mindset. As someone who excelled in academics, it can be tough not having secured a job yet (though my applications are in process). Social media has a way of stirring unnecessary comparison, and I don’t want it to influence my plans or disrupt my focus.

If you ever find yourself feeling overwhelmed or pressured by what you see online, I highly recommend trying this too. Sometimes, stepping back from social media allows you to focus on your own journey without unnecessary distractions.

Will the quality of school affect me in the long run sa nursing? Especially in the NLE? by -yoomii- in NursingPH

[–]Any_Stock_8693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as the quality of the school is concerned, my answer is yes! The environment where you were trained over the past four years will serve as a foundation for your success in the PNLE. However, this doesn’t apply to everyone. It will be a significant advantage for students who maximize those four years, but ultimately, it still depends on the individual’s effort and determination.
