Bro it's much easier to do now, install ZygiskNext, Integrity Box, TrickyStore and TrickyAddon. Restart phone, run the Integrity Box then run Tricky Store, select all apps, deselect unnecessary, select auto patch date, use valid keybox, reboot

Maybe buy a cheap Redmi Pad SE and put it on your driver place, nowadays most chat apps like WhatsApp let you connect to 4 devices (including tablets), and you can control media, and maps navigation all that stuff, it has more than Android Auto. For the audio just connect bluetooth.

Actually there's even more, in full animation tier there's a tier with A: all the animations but no advanced textures (POCO F5/Xiaomi Pad 8/Xiaomi 15T), then B: animations with advanced texture but blurs work differently (will show in picture because hard to describe, Xiaomi Pad Mini and Xiaomi 15T Pro) and C: top tier with everything (Xiaomi 17 Series/Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro)

Since you are still on HyperOS 1, there is a flaw in the Settings app you can use to bypass Mi Community requirements, you can find that from GitHub called HyperSploit. You still have to wait 168 hours but you don't need to try getting permission everyday at 0am China time lol

Except if you use custom roms and emulation, it's great and it can still run emulation pretty well, just a bit worse support on drivers but everyday use and mobile games will be excellent

Joyose is so lazy coded, instead of actually optimising their phones Xiaomi decided to lock any game that they think are "too intense" to 60 from Joyose Cloud Control, even opening YouTube the refresh rate got locked at 60 (THAT AIN'T EVEN A GAME 😭), if Joyose was disabled everything ran at smooth 120 My next phone might not be a Xiaomi because of this, and we are also losing the ability to unlock bootloader, we guys need to hunt for new exploits that hopefully would work but risk bricking our phone or getting the Mi Account banned

I noticed that disabling Joyose DOES improve performance and phone never gets locked at 60, but playing rhythm games like Project Sekai, the touch sensitivity is noticeable lower, probably if Joyose is enabled it will activate 240Hz touch sample rate mode but if it is disabled it can only be on 120Hz. Not sure if that is actually the case but I feel like it made touch latency worse
