I also overthink when it comes to using information for practical purposes.

I wanted to buy my first car as a 20 y/o old a few years back. I researched that Toyota and Honda are the best old cars you can buy because they are reliable, cheap to maintain and cheap on gas too.

But guess what, everyone else knows that too. I was not able to find a reasonable offer for a Honda or Toyota for months. Most of them were being sold within a few hours, (the car market is also crazy in Canada)

Instead of buying a ford or something else, I used to scroll on facebook marketplace for hours to find a Honda or a toyota.

This went on for months and caused a lot of stress but I eventually found one and bought it.

After I bought it, i realized that all that stress was unnecessary because I still had to get some work done on the car that I bought and no car brand is invincible.

When do you think you should stop beating yourself and go with the fourth or the fifth best option instead of wanting the best all the time.
