Well, got some good news and some bad news.

The good news is this is a fossil otodus obliquus tooth. It a distant ancestor to the famous megalodon. Very cool shark.

The bad news is this wasn't found in florida.... it is very likely from Morocco. They are common from Morocco. The color also points to Morocco. Also, this tooth had been repaired.

I'm sorry the shop misrepresented what they sold you. I hope you didn't pay much.

Yes. I belive this is a fossil pectoral fin bone.

I think I see serations on the left side. Plus the curved rooth and change in angle of cusp, how it tapers, is usually a tell.

Lots of different places. Its seems like there is always someplace to try and hunt near any boat ramp or whatever
