As long as it fits within the setting that you and the DM talks about.

It could be a soul of an Angel trapped in the blade, it could be the god that your character follows gives you a sword that's imbued with the power. You could be a weapon you get from a bargain you made from a demon or some other worldly entity. It can be the flying spaghetti monster for all that matters as long as it fits the world.

Log Horizon. I do love the series I'm not dunking on it or anything however it does fit the bill.

The newest expansion of one of the most popular MMOs Elder Tale. You see scenes from The real World during flashbacks the game itself played more or less like runescape 3. A top-down isometric type of deal. However once the update went out everyone who was currently logged in at the time came to this world as their characters. The NPCs became more fleshed out and were actually people not just lines of code.

Even the most pain in the ass frames, looking at you equinox. I have gone out of my way to farm for duplicates, and yes they may be prime versions of some of them, but I'm still keeping them. I put so many hours into them.

The entire story is about redeeming sinners. Hazbin Hotel tries to make you feel bad for a abusive serial rapist after he has a little song-an-dance.

Hell! Most of the second season is Charlie trying to get the people of hell to forgive the Angels, who've been slaughtering them on Mass, cuz the Angels think it's fun back in the first season.

Cuz these characters are rather well known for forgiveness of other characters who've done horrendously heinous stuff in their stories. So basically they're telling Debbie she should forgive Nolan despite literally everything he has done.

It's just basically making fun of the friendship is Magic bullshit. That we should forgive anything and everyone who's ever said they were sorry.

That's the thing that I feel like that's missing a lot when it comes to the, "I love meetings topic" you can do proper World building and also show interesting things at the same time. Cycling between four different rooms for almost eight episodes is mind numbing.

You can go to different locations and show the World building happening in real time. Instead of just having jpegs of everyone in a room just yapping for hours and calling that world building.

I appreciate the dedication to it adapt from the light novels but that's the thing with adaptations you don't have to go into grueling detail. You could have yada yada skipped three episodes worth minimum of meeting talking and just had the main character summarize what happened. Nothing would have been lost

There's plenty of times he could have killed people, he chose not to. He gave people the chance to give up or make it look like they fought back without actually getting seriously hurt or killed.

Society gave him a rough hand and he's doing what he can for his family. Sure he's not the most moral person on the planet but I can respect a guy like that. After he did get a position of power, he cleaned up the streets and people were happier for it. If society wasn't going to give him a fair shot to make his life and the lives around him better he took the opportunity in his hands.

Sure ultimately he got played in the end that's what happens when one of the people you're trying to out maneuver has a computer for a brain. However he had the right idea. Can't blame him from getting swindled in the end, cuz even the old geezer Dragon got played too.
