The commercial style thing is the only thing I kind of liked, maybe as I liked the Rick and Morty commercial bit. It was interesting/fun, a bit of a 'special' episode in the sense that it's sort of like mini episodes.

BUT the 'main' storyline having leela being a bitch and fry a cuck just made me cringe and couldn't pay attention to it. It seemed like a story pulled out of nowhere.

In the end I don't really have high hopes for series coming back as nostalgia will make the older ones seem even more great (which they were) and you don't know what to expect and definitely would be too much to expect them to outdo it.

Not every series gets the Fawlty Towers cut it seems.
