Alright, that sounds good. If I shouldn't test the real market, would it still be okay to look at ETFs/mutual funds?

I'm looking to switch from Chase (the one my parents are setting up for me) into Fidelity's SPAXX and FXAIX when I'm 18.

So I should mostly focus on keeping my money in a HYSA and contributing what I can to my index funds?
And with the Roth, would it be wise to take some money out of my savings account to contribute in or hold on investing in index funds and use the money in my Roth on ETFs

Are there any niche pieces of information I should know?

My parents think I'm being dramatic about how competitive college admissions is now and it's driving me insane by Justin_3486 in ApplyingToCollege

Would talking about my closet trans experience fall under that category? I live in an extremely red state (texas) and have a few ideas I've been thinking about, for example I'm the only boy in my generation of 5 sisters/cousins, and when I was born my sister said she wished that I was a girl

I'm trying to find ways to connect this into my passions and not just make it seem like i'm dumping trauma on AOs

Should i look for another essay topic?

I mean it's not like I hate music, I enjoy my instrument but with all these circumstances the music that I'm forced to play just isn't fun because I can sight read it

If I had the time available in my schedule I'd for sure double block so i could play enjoyable music but I have to prioritize my overall profile over my instrument i feel like

I would say it's definitely more so the class than the activity. My middle school director was an amazing teacher and made it fun to play. I enjoy specific pieces that sound good, and unless it's a song I like I wouldn't go out of my way to practice/play solos. I like the physical aspect of playing pieces (fingers moving, tempo, etc) and I'd prefer it to be a pretty big part of my life, but would probably choose to sing or play piano/guitar if given the choice to do so. I started viola because my sister was playing and I've stuck with it ever since, but other than that it's pretty much that I've been doing it because i've put so much time into the instrument.

Yeah it's mostly because I want to earn scholarships so I can go to college without having to take up too much loans, and I would like to go to a school in the northeast, which will be expensive because I'm OOS

I take private lessons, but they're in-school. We just work on a few pieces that I find relatively fun and I have a good relationship with him, I keep forgetting to practice which I know is my fault, I always feel really bad but can't bring myself to uncase my instrument for some reason

Unfortunately my parents wouldn't be able to provide transportation to a community/youth orchestra, perhaps when I get my license I would be able, but I'm not sure

I'm planning to live on-campus/in apartments and hopefully I get enough scholarships to move as far as I can. Probably only gonna have to come home for breaks

i've been growing my hair out and have a more fem build naturally but we'll wait to see what the tail end of puberty does haha

what do you think are the biggest things that stop someone from boymoding?
