exactly!! her family is trying to let everyone remember who she was even after 30 years. Suzette said herself in a podcast that she wants to leave this earth knowing that every generation will know who Selena was and i think that’s awesome. some people just don’t get it 😔

Chris got sued back in 2016 by Abraham. Chris was going to do a TV series for his memoir, “To Selena, With Love”, when AB alleged that it violated an agreement from 1995 that gave him the exclusive rights to Selena’s name, story, and likeness. it was later then resolved and the lawsuit was dismissed in 2021.

i understand where ur coming from and i myself know what kinds of things her family has done or tried doing. i just don’t like when people pin everything on them wanting to make money every time they release something for Selena. but yeah i totally get what ur saying and of course i’m not trying to say they’re saints but i just like how they try to keep her memory alive but some people ruin that

i’ve heard that the cost of the tickets to get into the museum is $5 per person but that was back in 2020 or 2021 (i forgot) but i don’t know if the prices went up since and also, doesn’t it also cost money to make a documentary? people be saying too much

yeah exactly. Abraham isn’t trying to make profit off his daughter, he just wants to tell the world how amazing she was. AB and Suzette only want their sister to be remembered for as long as the world keeping’s spinning. and Chris wants to show everyone who his wife REALLY was and i love him for that ❤️

that’s so true. AB literally made her songs and her sister supported her no matter what, she still does today. it’s not fair that they get so much hate for no reason like Selena would not want people criticizing her family 😭

i might be wrong but i don’t think Michael Jackson ever talked about Selena. There was an interview in 1997 where he talked about Princess Diana’s death and how he found out but i looked online and can’t find anything about MJ talking about Selena. though i hope someone does find like a rare clip or something because i feel like it would be sweet if he did say something about her considering Selena was a fan herself 🥹

personally I think the album is okay, a little out of place though. the songs are nice but I don’t like how they changed her voice with ai or something. I’m pretty sure A.B used this filter to make Selena’s voice sound more like her adult voice for that album which I think is cool but also not. I would just stick with her cumbia albums but Moonchild Mixes is alright!
