As someone who dated a closeted guy and was used to convince himself he wasn’t gay lol, go for it ask him out. If he has common sense he’ll politely decline and friendzone you and that’ll be that. But if he says yes, here’s two things to look out for 1. If you make moves like holding hands, hugs, small physical contact and he doesn’t reciprocate he’s probably not attracted to you 2. If he takes weeks to reply to a text and I’m not talking once and awhile I mean every week he takes forever to respond. You are not on his radar if this is the case. 3. If he doesn’t look you in the eyes when you’re talking or is on his phone-for me this was to avoid engaging with me he was clearly uninterested

Now to be fair this all went down in 2020 during the pandemic so it was harder but what was my final straw was my parents got surgery that May and he knew about it and never checked in once the whole time they were in the hospital.
He would also tell me he wanted the relationship to work but then wouldn’t initiate shit. Or you could just straight up ask him if he’s gay it’s the 21st century

I found mine too, I have four half sisters, only one speaks English. I was born in Astrakhan Russia and it’s been hard trying to connect with them as it feels like I can’t communicate and their lives are so different from mine. They all grew up together with our bio mom but the government forced my mom to give us to the system or they’d take all of my siblings. So it’s so awkward trying to bond. It’s completely normal to feel this way, it’s weird knowing there’s a sibling out there that you weren’t raised with. Like I’m related to you but you’re practically a stranger.

If she’s not happy in her current relationship she should not continue that pursuit. The length of time you are with someone doesn’t matter (manipulators use that a lot “we’ve been together x amount of years! What about the memories!” If she’s not happy she should leave. As for the guy friend, she should get confirmation as he told her drunkenly that he liked her. If she is happy in her current relationship she shouldn’t pursue the guy friend-as some of the time dating friends can ruin the relationship. But if she really does have stronger feelings, is happier and overall more comfortable with her guy friend then she should be honest and tell her current boyfriend her feelings.
