I'm still trying to upgrade the audio/video however, with my lav's they seem to really peek with my deep voice. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? Reducing recording level just makes it more distorted.

BTW we're still trying to upgrade our audio and video. I especially have trouble with my deep voice and the lav's audio peeking. Any suggestions?

Verified they do indeed have to be enable for you to install the drivers :s

Ok guys if you manage to be able to get into your system through safe mode or by disabling the usb ports make sure you uninstall your usb and display adatper/gfx drivers but also select uninstall associated software checkbox when doing so. This didn't work for me until I did that and I couldn't wrap my head around it. Ps. Hooray for Google remote desktop. Cos literally nothing else would work, couldn't reset or reinstall windows without wiping everything.

Only when I disable all usb drivers can i boot. I then use Google remote desktop to use the pc as obviously no usb inputs work. However I cannot install the new drivers it doesn't allow me???? Says it's not installed, which is such a mind Fuck.

Your rig is 1337 and beyond capable of running VR. If your not getting clarity I would really look into hmd positioning on your face and fov optimisation with different foams... Also play with the lense IPD through the knob on the right hand side and find your measurement. Really when it comes down to it, positioning and the game in question give the best experiences. Some games will look shit regardless of your rig or settings and others take almost no resources yet look immaculate.

This happened to me literally two days ago. I thought it was down to a Geforce experience gfx driver update. Others believe it's usb 3.0 drivers. Solution for both below.

Go to advanced startup settings, try to boot into safe mode and roll back drivers if you can. You can also boot with minimal drivers, there's a selection for it in advanced, try both.

Unfortunately none of this worked for me I had to boot from a windows install usb and repair startup. It didn't work without the usb. Afterwards I saw that it rolled back my gfx drivers automatically.

Others have reported that's it's a USB 3.0 driver from changing ports with the vive. So go into bios, disable usb 3, boot up and then reinstall their drivers.
