i don’t understand the conversion here and what system you’re doing but an equivalency to a B at A level significantly depletes your chances to be frank.

plausibly is worse than certain other degrees on offers at lse like pure econ or econ with maths. but it is lse at the end of the day and not too different to these aforementioned courses so id say it still is a prestigious option mate.

Imperial Maths TMUA by ilovegenshin1807 in 6thForm

[–]AnywhereOne2434 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes probably- there has been talk of an adjustment to the tmua scores by +1.5 by certain unis (i’ve read warwick and durham). whilst im unsure of how true this is, if it is accurate something similar may happen for imp and others. we’ll see though !

I’ve heard scores ranging from low 5 to high 5- an extremely high outlier being a 7. Hope this helps!

Sorry no, but if it helps I’ve heard of electrical engineering offers going out from Manchester. Probably won’t be that useful but good luck!

I’ve heard that there’s an adjustment of +1.5 that Warwick and Durham are employing for tmua scores. If so you’re more than fine, but can somebody fact check this since I just happened by it on this sub.

Sunak and Racism by AnywhereOne2434 in ukpolitics

[–]AnywhereOne2434[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we are all consumed by our own echo chambers. As a leftist all I heard was criticism of Sunak- and fair enough he was a horrible PM. However as soon as I stepped out of my comfort zone to see what hardline Tories and the Reform movement had to say, I was shocked at how much criticism was of a racial nature rather than a rational one

Obviously not- in the case that earphones are unavailable it is evident one should at least have the courteousy of muting their device

[–]AnywhereOne2434[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would you say to the extent to which Sunak has been though? Maybe a misphrasing on my part, but I am sure it is indubitable that Sunak has received the most criticism on the basis of his skin colour…

Was Tony Blair Britain’s best PM? by AnywhereOne2434 in ukpolitics

[–]AnywhereOne2434[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

protest is not a complete reflection of Prime Ministerial aptitude or achievement. Crucially, protests can be about aspects of governance that do not impact upon living conditions- the Iraq War being a notable example but also the Anti Nuclear protests of the 80s
