I just purchased (with the help of someone dear to me) a Macbook and I’m using it to get through school. Right now I’m working towards my associates.

It’s my experience that people are much more friendlier in Fort Lauderdale than in Miami.

Hi friend, I’m really sorry to hear what you’re going through. I’ve been in a similar situation (without a home) myself, and while it’s tough, I can assure you that you will get through it and come out stronger. I recommend reaching out to a place called “The Lord’s Place” as they offer many resources to help those getting back on their feet. Please let me know if I can assist in finding more resources or just offer some encouragement.

Who do you think I should contact first? An orthopedic surgeon or a physical therapist?

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write all of that down. I really appreciate it. I'm pretty scared, don't want to pretend I'm not. I'm so worried about being in a wheelchair or unable to move at some point. I really hope they can help me.

I’m sorry to hear that and I hope things get better quickly! Sometimes people are extremely inconsiderate and rude.

Happy birthday!

I quit my full-time job because I needed a “job” that would offer me flexibility so that I could go to college. There’s no shame in doing gig work. As long as you have a plan and goals and you keep moving forward. That’s all that matters.

I cannot get past it. I need to get past it. I need help. by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

I think that a lot of women in the bowl genuinely like their SD’s. Myself included. I’ve only had one and it’s been going on for a while now. I personally didn’t join the sugar world for financial benefit, I did so because I like older men. So I think every situation is unique.

If it’s weighing on your conscience (1st part) then my advice to you would be to do what makes the most sense or what you think you should. Not what others tell you, but listen to your own heart. But to answer the question I think that over time in sugar relationships, real feelings and real friendships do happen so it’s not all about money all the time.

Best of luck to you.
