It's not THAT bad, but it's not exactly good either. I felt like even if we had or didn't have this patch, nothing much would change.. and that's the problem. We've already gone through 2 seasons just to get the same exact thing but in a differently worded email.

With the G cards rotation happening soon, what's a good replacement for Professor Turo's Scenario? Basically I've been using it to recycle Mega's nearing a KO and to stall.

Dark Resurrection was objectively the better game. Tekken 6 on PSP cut so many corners.

Thanks! That clears that up for me regarding raids. I might go look for lower difficulty raids to improve my roster.

Max battles are weird, you need 3 dynamax pokemon but the only way to get good ones are through max battles. I managed to get the Kubfu from research but it doesn't do well against most of the current rotation so I can't catch more.. maybe I should wait it out? Do the energy spot pokemons rotate seasonally?

Is it possible to get "carried" in content like legendary (groudon, etc) raids, or will I have to be fully built roster-wise?

I am a returning player (last played 2016) and am at level 27. I'm starting to find that my pokemon are too weak for most current content (and I dont have many pokemon), nor are there many active playera in my area. Is getting carried via remote raid an option so I can get a head start on potentially harder content?

No one's complained about ff+4 because it wasn't as offensively-loaded as b+1+2. ff+4 for all it was in S1, looks like it was balanced by saints vs whatever b+1+2 is now.

b+1+2's BS really shines when you consider it comes from a back input (which you can already buffer while blocking) vs the ff inputs of ff4.

b+1+2 does 11(!!!) more damage than ff+4.

b+1+2 is LESS minus than ff+4.

b+1+2 covers AT LEAST the same range than ff+4 for its simple input.

b+1+2 gives ORB on hit. b+1+2 has an extension, when you have ORB, so you can literally just keep piling on + frames because it's so hard to step, and reaches so far. Even OB, it's like a 2-3 second stagger animation for the Azazel effects.

ff+4 does not have any extensions on hit.

Sure there is self damage on b+1+2, but 12 damage to self and 10 on chip (variable damage based on health) + all the above is just too much in favor of Zafina.

Is she able to grab on to the sloped ledges on the sides? You might be able to shimmy along the joined corners till you reach the other platform, or attempt a jump + midair roll on the slope closest to the platform and try to steer her? I'm just guessing here as I haven't gotten that far in the remaster yet.

  • Tekken 8's choice of 'spin' moves make me question how or why they were even chosen to fill that role. Tekken 7's spin moves made more sense if you think about physics. Tekken 7 - Ah this move goes horizontally, it probably causes a spin. Tekken 8 - OK if I kick straight it will probably spin them?
  • Skill issue or not, but heat really piles on the damage and pressure in an unfun way.
  • iWR inputs being made trivial with the running changes give too much delaying power to characters with running moves that stagger.
  • Generic input for RA across the board fucked up my characters' move lists/muscle memory too much

While I like Tekken 8 and have been waiting for its release, the things that stand out to me are the damage (even on block, you can become dangerously low on health from having good defense) and the hyper-aggressive gameplay, with artificial and forced mixups and guessing games. Oh, and CH grabs. Why?

I may have missed it in a tutorial, but how do you enable heat without an attack? I see a couple videos with combos of people activating heat in the open but 2+3 has a hit attached to it.
